Merits and Prizes

• Computer Graphics World selected images from the article Unravelling the Mysteries of the Mummy, published in May 2000 as one of the most important visualization images of the last 25 years.
• Identified as a key European influential expert by FISTERA in 2003.
• The web site for the VISUAL project was selected by JISC, in 2005, to be archived as part of the UK Web Archiving Consortium Pilot Project as it was of special scientific interest.
• Visualization Showcase Competition 2006, Second Prize, J. Leng, L. Margetts and I. M. Smith for the entry entitled, Visualizations of a Physically Coupled System. Here is the textual part of the entry, the visualization support part of the entry and the academic paper, to which it relates.
